I've talking to a lot of my friends thinks getting in the music industry is easy. It easy if you have the right people that can help get there. I think having a really good support system help get into. Every artist has a family and friends that help get through the ups and downs. Just because you have a friend in the music industry doesn't mean they are going to help you. Depending on the person and if they have a good heart. If you the right people and right sound that people are willing to listen. Like for an example Nicki Manja. She came out with her music at the right time and produce music that was something unique and different. But not only she hooked up with young money which was a good move to make because she knew they were going to make her famous.
I believe is taking a diligent hard working individual to get where he or she want to be in the music industry. I really think people don't really take the time or the effort. To actually listen to the music and the story the artist is telling the audience. The artist know what you've been through and can relate to you as a person. I feel when people see and artist the media makes them overrated to the point you get sick and tried. Like Rhianna ever since she and chris brown broke up. All you hear is what she is wearing and what color did she die her hair. I mean I thought the music industry was about the music and not how some one looks or dresses. I really believe in what Jessie J says" in the song Price tag not all about the money is about the music and not videos hoes" I truly believe in what she says and I think people need to learn to pay attention.

What is TED ideas?
Ted idea is a speaker that talks about enhancing your ideas and to make them global. How? Its called Crowd Accelerated Innovation he gave three examples the bigger the crowd builds new people, innovators commenter and spotters. The second is Light is a clear open of the crowd to understand their empowerment. Third is Desire need to work really hard to get big crowds. I think how Ted inspired the audience is he showed anything is possible once you your mind into your idea. I helps me build a deeper understand of my dream and my goals in life. As long as I put hundreds of hours in what my idea is and enhance those ideas. My Idol is Beyonce Knowles ever since she was apart of Destiny's Child I've seen evolved from the group to her single albums. She took chance and risk on her new sound because she want something different and to engage a new crowd. I think that what an artist is a risk taker but you put time into your work and you get better at it. But she came up with ideas and she enhance them and to see what was the crowd reaction. If you want her over seas tour on DVD you know what I'm talking about when you watch behind the scenes. I'm even more inspired to go out there to became my own artist and also to inspire others not only in music but in anything they want to achieve in life.

What is RIAA?
RIAA is Recording Industry Association is an organization that supports and promotes creative artist. The organization also protects artist hard work that they put in to the music. But since the digital era has advance over the last few years artist have been losing money from people stealing over the internet. The organization does there best to keep from being stolen but people have gotten around the security. Once you become a member of RIAA you create a manufacture or distribute approximately 85% all legitimate recorded music produced and sold in the US. RiAA mission is to work to protect the intellectual property and rights and the first amendment right of artist.
RiAA organization has thousand's of artist all over the country that are members. In order to get into the organization there is an application process and it take up to 45 days to let you know weather you become a member or not. It relates to what I want to do because I love music. I want to have my own label with my name and to protect music from being stolen just like my organization. The organization is important to me because artist spend hundreds dollars or more to get there name out. Its not fair the people wont appreciate the artist and actually buy the song on itunes or go to a target and get their CD. I support so many artist I go and buy there music because they put there all in making the song or the beats. It take time and energy to put together a really good CD.

[/caption]Rising hip-hop artist and producer, J Noize, has teamed up once again to support Kids Off The Block, a charity dedicated to helping Chicago’s underprivileged youth excel. On June 12, Kids Off The Block (K.O.B) is hosting their 1st Annual Safe Summer BBQ located at Palmer Park in Chicago from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. The Safe Summer BBQ is promoting peace to local teenagers, along with presenting them possible job opportunities and safe summer programs within their community. The goal is, keeping “kids off the block” and inspiring them into positive directions, despite the unfortunate living conditions they may face.
“Everyone knows how hard it is for Chicago youth right now. So everything Diane and K.O.B. are putting together is very helpful to our children and our communities, “states J Noize. “I’m happy to be involved. It’s not just a neighborhood BBQ and performances. It’s also an event to unite us, while promoting stop the violence and showing the youth of our city the many ways we can fellowship with one another.” J Noize will be dishing up the delicious food for the kids and giving a special performance at the BBQ.
Last Thanksgiving J Noize supported Kids Off The Block for their “Feed The Teen Event,” where he served the holiday dinner to almost 1,000 neglected teenagers in the area. Sad story, but a true struggle for the local neighborhood kids as the Chicago teen killings and poverty has really effected the community. K.O.B’s Founder Diane Latiker touches on J Noize’s involvement stating, “We are grateful to J Noize for support of our mission to save a generation! He has shown that he is a music artist who not only cares, but believes that he can and will make a difference through his music in lives of the youth we service.”
The Soul Eclectic label’s artist, J Noize, has released two new singles simultaneously; “Every Place I Go” featuring Heat Fam’s rappers Yung Nef and D-illa, plus, “Find Him” a soulful track featuring well-known singer/songwriter and actress Terry Dexter. I haven't had the pleasure of meeting a Project Manager but I did the research on how to interview a project manger if I had the opportunity. Here is the articles:
It is important to structure your interview answer because this is a multi-layered and fairly complex question. Start by explaining how you will answer the question. This keeps your answer on track and to the point.
"I will begin by giving you a short description of my last three projects. I will then detail the skills and abilities I developed as a result of each project and then demonstrate the value of these skills to this position."
You can then go on to provide a brief but concise summary of each project.

An event project manager’s job is to oversee and arrange every aspect of an event, including researching, planning, organizing, implementing, controlling, and evaluating an event’s design, activities, and production.
Event Management Projects has been described as an “emerging profession” due to the fact that no academic, government-issued licensing, or private occupational certification credentials are required to practice this complex and responsibility-laden enterprise. Without such credentials, “professional” status is suspect and subject to degradation by the actions of untrained and inexperienced practitioners who are simply not aware of the scope of what needs to be learned in order to be qualified to work in this profession, as well as the scope of the legal and ethical responsibilities associated with such endeavors.
Event Management Projects encompasses a multitude of types of events. Although the Projects industry has delineated itself into various categories, all represent the planning and production of an event that brings people together at a particular time, in a particular place, for a particular purpose. The event genres that may be considered as falling within the Event Management Projects profession for the purposes of this project are illustrated in Table 1.

The Next Stage
Further development, improvement, expansion, and ratification of the Event Management Projects depends on the review and input of a broad variety of industry practitioners, experts, certification bodies, and academicians from the full spectrum of event genres and industries.
Event Management Projects is an intricate weaving of the process and the scope of management functions. As illustrated below, the functional units (grouped by domain) form the warp fibers—the foundation threads of the fabric of an event. The processes—or weft threads—are interwoven through these foundations for each event, with the evaluation thread from one event forming the research thread for the next event. If you eliminate one of the threads, the fabric of the event is weakened, leaving holes or places where it may unravel.
The Design domain focuses on the artistic interpretation and expression of the goals and objectives of the event project and its experiential dimensions, and is often the area of Event Management Projects that draws individuals to the occupation due to its creative opportunities.
Many of the units and topics represent specific specializations, disciplines, or its own distinct industry, with its own body of knowledge and credentials, some requiring specific licenses in many jurisdictions, with which the event manager must interact or subcontract in order to plan and produce an event.
At this stage the knowledge domain structure represents a simple mapping of concepts. It is not practical to numerically quantify the units or topics contained in the various certification competency blueprints, vocational qualifications, guides, and texts because, as yet, standard units and terminology have not been adopted by the industry as a whole. This initial taxonomy of general Project Management will serve as a platform that will enable expert participants, from a variety of disciplines around the world, to continue its refinement and develop a shared understanding and interaction.

The proposed domain structure can serve numerous purposes and uses, not the least of which is the illustration of the scope and complexity of this profession to internal and external constituents and stakeholders, current and future practitioners, and allied and supplier industries, thereby increasing respect and reverence for the profession of Event Management Projects and legitimizing and “expertizing” the functions of event management.
The Next Stage
Further development, improvement, expansion, and ratification of the Event Management Projects depends on the review and input of a broad variety of industry practitioners, experts, certification bodies, and academicians from the full spectrum of event genres and industries.
Event Management Projects is an intricate weaving of the process and the scope of management functions. As illustrated below, the functional units (grouped by domain) form the warp fibers—the foundation threads of the fabric of an event. The processes—or weft threads—are interwoven through these foundations for each event, with the evaluation thread from one event forming the research thread for the next event. If you eliminate one of the threads, the fabric of the event is weakened, leaving holes or places where it may unravel.
The Design domain focuses on the artistic interpretation and expression of the goals and objectives of the event project and its experiential dimensions, and is often the area of Event Management Projects that draws individuals to the occupation due to its creative opportunities.
Many of the units and topics represent specific specializations, disciplines, or its own distinct industry, with its own body of knowledge and credentials, some requiring specific licenses in many jurisdictions, with which the event manager must interact or subcontract in order to plan and produce an event.
At this stage the knowledge domain structure represents a simple mapping of concepts. It is not practical to numerically quantify the units or topics contained in the various certification competency blueprints, vocational qualifications, guides, and texts because, as yet, standard units and terminology have not been adopted by the industry as a whole. This initial taxonomy of general Project Management will serve as a platform that will enable expert participants, from a variety of disciplines around the world, to continue its refinement and develop a shared understanding and interaction.

Joe Jonas, Keri Hilson, Kelly Rowland andGlee star Matthew Morrison will also take to the stage at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday.
Other newly-announced presenters for the ceremony, hosted by Ken Jeong, include Nas, Tim Allen, Rico Rodriguez, Scott Weiland, Travis Barker and Trey Songz.
Rihanna, Black Eyed Peas, Cee Lo Green, Nicki Minaj, Ke$ha, Pitbull, Lady Antebellum, Far East Movement, Ne-Yo, OneRepublic and Taio Cruz were previously announced to appear at the star-studded broadcast.
Neil Diamond will receive the 'Billboard Icon Award' during the ceremony, while Beyoncé - who premieres her 'Run The World (Girls)' video later today - will take home the 'Billboard Millennium Award'.
Rihanna leads the nominations for the ceremony with recognition in 18 categories. Other nominated stars include Eminem, Lady GaGa and Justin Bieber.
The Billboard Music Awards 2011 air live on Sunday, May 22 from 8/7c on ABC.

He ultimately chose to work with Cee Lo Green over fellow interested mentor Adam Levine, but unfortunately his time on the show came to an end on this week's battle round when he was paired with Nakia for a performance of 'Closer' by Ne-Yo. Cee Lo's guest advisor Monica had insisted that a string of singers would die to have Tje's melodic voice, but the 'Forget You' star eventually chose to send him home.
Here's what he told reporters about the experience:
On going out at this stage of the competition:
"I think getting eliminated from the battle round is probably the hardest round to get eliminated from because we made it through the blind audition and America knows who we are - finally! - so, for me, now it would be great to be eliminated by America's choice when they are picking me out of 16 people. It's hard to get eliminated when I'm just up against one guy and I haven't made it to the live rounds. It's very frustrating to get eliminated even if it's a great singer or if someone had a lucky night, it's just hard getting eliminated in the battle round. I feel while Nakia is a great guy and a great artist, I would love to know what America would have thought. For me, that was the hardest part."
On whether he had a strategy for the performance:
"My whole goal was to get up on stage and do me; sing a great song. I think we had a great duet and I think I succeeded. I had a lot of people in my corner and I did impress the judges but they were definitely intrigued by [Nakia's] delivery."
On being a solo artist and having to perform a duet:
"I enjoy singing with somebody else. I love being a solo artist, but I love harmony; that's my big thing. I love blending voices and my whole goal singing with Nakia was to try to make the best performance possible, which I really do think we did. I enjoyed singing with him - I thought it was great - and I'd love to do more with him in the future because I think we have really good chemistry and he's my friend. The fact we were friends and singing such a great song together was uplifting."
On the most important lesson he learned:
"To be myself, that's how I got on the show. They liked me because of how I sang. I learned a lot from all the other artists. I like seeing where we all are in our careers. It was very inspiring. What I've taken from the show is how great we all were, where I want to be in five years, what type of career I want to have. I'm just glad I made so many great friendships. Everybody is so awesome. This is the best experience I've had in my life."
On what surprised him the most about the judges:
"I was so excited to be on Cee Lo's team. It's amazing to be given the opportunity to work with someone of such amazing caliber. I was constantly in awe. He's such a great artist and great writer. I just wanted to take something away from that. It really helped motivate me to be in the music industry and make my own mark and ask what type of career do I want to have. It was great when he said he could see pieces of him in me. And to meet Monica… she's beautiful, man! Nobody else can say that they've had this experience that we've had to be around these artists. It was just very inspiring and it just pushes me to do so much."
On who he is rooting for now:
"I love everybody but I am rooting for - and this is a list, if that's okay - Frenchie [Davis], Javier [Colon] - I'm such a big fan of his; I went fanboy a couple of times after I met him - Sara Oromchi, she has such a great voice, Lily [Elise] has a great voice, Casey Desmond is awesome. It's such a hard question. Everybody is so great, and with the four of us [who got eliminated this week], I feel we'll be doing some great things in the future and we're all awesome so I'm still rooting for us!"

Green is joined on the show's judging panel by popstar Christina Aguilera, Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine and country singer Blake Shelton, and said that he doesn't expect that to change.
"That would be the safe assumption, I haven't heard anything other than that," Green toldBillboard, when asked whether all four judges would be back. "I'll be there, that's for sure.
"We've already been secured for a second season, so prepare to see a lot more of myself, Christina, Blake and Adam, and a host of great artists doing their thing."
Green also responded to comments made by American Idol judge Randy Jackson earlier this month in which he described The Voice as 'gimmicky'.
"I believe that's a little harsh to say that that's 'gimmicky'," Green said. "I don't believe we're competing; I believe there is a co-existence."
The Voice continues next Tuesday at 10/9c on NBC.
